Welcome to Tree Brand Maple Farm! We’re a family-run operation with a passion for pure maple syrup and a deep love for the land.
Our story began in 1973, when Paul Doerfler and Julia Richmond set up their home in the forests of Quebec, tapping trees by hand and collecting sap in buckets while living in a tipi.
Their dream was simple: to live close to nature, produce syrup sustainably, and provide for their family. And they did just that! Over time, Tree Brand Maple grew, expanding from Quebec into Vermont. Now, the second generation has taken the reins, ensuring our maple syrup is just as rich and natural as ever. Paul and Julia are still part of the farm’s heartbeat—they love walking in the woods and personally delivering our syrup to longtime customers.
We’re proud that Tree Brand Maple is certified organic by Ecocert and Kosher certified, a reflection of our commitment to quality. From sustainable harvesting methods to a small hobby farm that supports our family’s healthy lifestyle, we’re grateful to continue the legacy Paul and Julia started.
